Taphole clays

The taphole clays are specified for closing tap holes of blast furnaces. The clays can be applied by two technological procedures:
- tapping by using the inserted soaking bar
- tapping by using drill.
The clays are characterized by high resistance to erosion, good hardening rate, tap hole stability, optimum specific consumption per ton of processed metal and are suitable for intensive blast furnace operation.

Ramming mixes for runners

They are used for construction and repairs of monolithic lining of blast furnace slag runners and tapping spouts.
